Apple Curry~

Hi!!
I came back with another recipe.. (^^)v
Today's food is ''Curry'.

How is this pic? looks good? haha.. the taste is much better..

This is Apple Curry~ and I used Korean Curry powder.

Usually, people think Indian about curry in Indian Restaurant.
However, there are many different Curry tastes in East Asia.

Indian Curry usually has strong smell and taste, and that's why many people like. ( Of course, I Do love Indian chicken curry, too!!!)
However, Korean and Japanese curries are milder and have less smell. ( and divided by hot and mild)

Most of Korean curries are yellow color and power type, but Japanese curries are dark brown and square lump type..
and I usually use Korean or Japanese power for curry.

Today, I used Korean curry. ( you can use Japanese curry.)

Let's start!!

Time: 30 min
Level : Kids' Garden
For Whom : who love curry smell~

Ingredients : korean Curry ( I used 'hot', but you don't like 'hot', you can use 'mild')
1 apple, 1 Onion, small stick carrots (as much as you want), 1 potato, *1 can of less sodium spam.
Butter, Milk, Parsley
* you can use ground beef, pork, or Chicken etc. whatever you prefer instead of spam. (just added 1/2t salt for pork, beef or chicken)

Option 1: 1 1/2 T finely chopped Garlic
Option 2: You want more spicy? OK, the answer is 1/2T chilli power (if you have korean red chilli powder, it will be great~)

Prepare : Chop the apple, Onion, spam and Potato.

How to :

1. Fry butter with apple, Onion, spam and Potato. : You can fry with finely chopped garlic together.

2. Pour 2 ~ 3 cup of water (2cup is better), and wait till boiling

3. Turn off gas (stop boiling), and put 1 pack of Korean curry into the water(#2) and stir for a while

4. Turn on gas and keep the fire on midium and stir sometimes till the curry will be thick

5. if curry is thick, pour 2/1 cup of milk (you can pour less or more milk depending on your prefer) and stir 2-5 times, and stop boiling : if you want spicy taste, you can put option 2 when you pour the milk.

6. stop boiling and serve on rice, and decorate with parsley.

7. say " 감 사 합 니다" (Gam Sa Hap Mi Da , Happy dinner), and yam! yam! yam! (^0^) /

This is today's dinner with curry... delicious.. delicious.. hoho.

Hi!!

What will you have for dinner tonight? or What did you have for dinner today?

Hoho..

Many Korean housewives agonize about dinner menu everyday and you can see these scenes in Korean TV dramas.

They are very busy to prepare 3-6 side dishes, one (or more) main dish, one soup, some sauce, and rice (or noodle). –Of course, not every Korean prepares these many items. Some prepare less, some prepare more.-
And many other family members DO like to have different at least main dish everyday.

Of course, if I marry to someone someday, and he complains about same main dish, I will just kick his hip.. (However, I do not think I will get have a chance to kick his hip because I DO love to cook.. How Lucky He will be!!!!! Hoho)
